Seed tomorrow with wise significance today!

So many interesting messages end up anonymous. Here’s one I saw a couple weeks ago while strolling around little boutiques in the mountains of Colorado:

If you put a small value upon yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price.

Been feeling less than worthy lately? If so, please ask yourself why you can find significant value in others and less in yourself! We were all breathed in to have a human experience, to take great adventures, and to be challenged as we learn our human lessons. Strength, confidence and a command of our own life support our ability to create a life worth living – and one with less regret.

Taking action toward something significant contributes to our feelings of significance. So, perhaps it’s time for another great adventure or for achievement of another worthy goal! Enjoy the journey to significance!!!

Seed tomorrow with wise daring today!

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you the name of the company that wants to sell me something or what that something is. However, the words the advertiser used on the commercial grabbed my attention immediately:

Inspiration doesn’t favor those who sit still . . . it dances with the daring.

Wow . . . how true that is! Even though I may not purchase the intended product, I certainly buy the idea of daring. So, how about some daring action toward that which we desire today?!

Wednesday Wisdom

Seed tomorrow with wise forward motion today!

Have you been thinking about doing something different in 2013?  Is there something you’ve wanted to do; however, have been hesitating?  Have you reached out for support and encouragement and been met by resistance instead?  Perhaps Sheldon Cahoon’s words can help:

When someone tells you that you can’t do something, perhaps you should consider that they are only telling you what they can’t do.     

This may be the year you’ve been waiting for!   Perhaps it’s a year of adventure, awakening, transformation, or a grand move toward that which is calling you.  Or, it could be another 365 days of flat lining, remaining stagnant, and wishing for more . . . your choice.  When we look back on 2013, it will be whatever we make it.  So, this is a perfect year to give yourself support and encouragement.  Then, enjoy the ride!

Wednesday Wisdom

Seed tomorrow with wise adventures today!

January 7^th is significant to me because it was Russian Christmas.  As a little girl we celebrated what we called Little Christmas, so it’s always held a sacred place in my heart.

However, this past Monday took on a whole new sacredness. Little Christmas offered us the gift of our first grandchild.  One look at little baby Reid reminded me of the real meaning of life – a vivid memory I have stemming from my first look at each our daughters.

As my arms wrapped around his little body for the first time, I asked him to always remember the heavens he came from and his reason for choosing to be here.  It’s so easy to get so caught up in the busyness of Earth and forget the real intent of our visit!  Then, just before I whispered my first word into his ears, I remembered what Eleanor Roosevelt said:

I think, at a child’s birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift should be curiosity.    

Reid, as Doctor Seuss would say, “Oh, the places you’ll go . . .!”  Life is a great adventure!  How about if we all decided to make our explorations glorious?!
