Seed tomorrow with wise strength today
The National Speakers Association annual convention ended yesterday. Ideas simmered and stirred, eloquence flowed, and most importantly, hugs from loved colleagues were sincerely abundant. In a General Session keynote, Roger Crawford shared experiences of being born with physical limitations. When he asked his mom why other kids made fun of his short arms that we missing 7 fingers, her response was:
Making fun of another is a weak person’s imitation of strength.
Roger reminded us that disabilities may limit us; however, it’s the imaginary ones that disable us. By nature, we have enough mental chatter to manage – we certainly don’t need to listen to that which is nonsense, mean or judgmental from another.
Life is calling . . . Today’s the day . . . Make this moment matter!!
Learn Lavishly. Live Significantly. Leave a Legacy.
