Seed tomorrow with wise compassion today
Yesterday was my husband’s 67th birthday and each year my respect for his choice about who to be in the world increases. Curt was not raised in an easy family, nor was he intentionally taught integrity, character, compassion or kindness. Yet, his example challenges me to be a better person on a daily basis. Coincidentally (or serendipity) I re-read this yesterday and post it in honor of Curt’s essence:
A mind committed to compassion is like an overflowing reservoir, a constant source of energy, determination and kindness. ~ Dalai Lama
Happy Birthday, Curt! Thank you for the example you set for me, our daughters and grandsons. May you consistently receive the same kindness you extend to the world.
Life is calling . . . Today’s the day . . . Make this moment matter!!
