Wednesday Wisdom

Seed tomorrow with wise focus today

Who likes when life gets messy? Isn’t it difficult to find good in the middle of disorder? Why is this happening? Why now? Why is this happening to me?

Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.

It takes courage and discipline; however, practice sitting in the middle of turmoil, embrace the muddle, work through the shambles and be patient for clarity to surface.

Wednesday Wisdom

Seed tomorrow with wise strength today

What if we’re here to learn as much as we can, apply those lessons in our daily life and extend a hand to others based on our learning?  The notion frames Sarah Andreas’ words:

Somebody needs your strengths and if you’re spending all your time focusing on your weaknesses, you’re missing opportunities to help others.

We don’t avoid working on becoming the best version of ourselves, rather focus on that which is good in the world and offer the best of ourselves.

Seed tomorrow with wise betterment today

We’re finally completing most of the renovations on the home we gutted in our move to the west side of Michigan, which opens up time to read, re-read, contemplate, absorb content and intentionally implement more into my life on a daily basis – refreshing.  I hadn’t realized how much I missed the process!

This week, Maya Angelou reminds me:

Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.

Here we go, again!
