The next time you hesitate to make a decision, consider what Ezra Taft Benson, American farmer, government official and religious leader, who served as a US Secretary of Agriculture wrote:

You are free to choose; however, you are not free to alter the consequences of your choices.

All choices result in outcomes.  Look at our current political scene, the state of our climate, our global dissonance . . . we will be haunted by some unintended consequences; however, the essence of the intended, collective ones need to be taken seriously. Our children’s future is at stake. Let’s get it together, adults.

Seed tomorrow with wise action today 

We’ve had the opportunity to adventure into the upper regions of Michigan several times the last few weeks. And, of course, that includes exploring quaint shops and boutiques of the lovely towns that adorn the area. Again and again appear signs, posters, and old boards that read: Be present in this moment, relax and take in nature, learn from the beauty that surrounds you, don’t let yesterday take up too much of today, a room without books is like a body without a soul  . . . and the list goes on. I can’t help but think:

How different would our life be if we actually acted upon the ideas that grabbed our soul when we read them?

Life is fast and fragile. None of us are getting out of here alive. The clock is ticking. The time is now, make this moment matter … so, let’s act on the notions that remind us of this precious gift called life.
