Seed tomorrow with wise awakening today!
Much of what we’ve read and heard the last few weeks has been dark and dire. However, in the midst of a pandemic, people around the world demonstrate compassion, resiliency and a never-ending propensity to help others. As Elizabeth Lesser wrote:
Every catastrophe can hand us exactly what we need to awaken into who we really are.
There’s the story of Italians singing together from their balconies. Others maintained their responsible social distance, yet exercised together on individual terraces. Village members in Spain delivered a cake and collectively sang Happy Birthday to their 85 year old neighbor, and, across Spain, people went to their windows to give health care workers a round of applause. As Disneyland closed, it donated all their leftover food to a food bank in Orange County. Last week, we heard of a distillery in Oregon that is making hand sanitizer and giving it away for free and now distilleries across the U.S. are doing the same. People in communities across the globe are doing grocery store runs for elder members. And, people around the world are engaged in collective mediation and prayer to harness and activate intentional healing energy.
Perhaps hope is providing light when surrounded by darkness. It appears the near future has declared more light will be needed and, for longer than we anticipated. So, in advance, thank you to all the light workers of this beautiful little planet we share.

Loved your most recent missive, Marilynn.
Bring out our best in the worst of times. Every day, in my head I replay the footage of Italians singing from their balconies. I saw a post about people playing some kind of bingo across a courtyard. Connection. We stay connected. More to come later, my friend; I love you.
