A bit of chaos at the Paris airport over the air controllers strike embedded a few moments of dread and deep breaths as many were scrambling to get out of Paris before flights were cancelled. With many others, we began to image camping at the airport for days, awaiting an opportunity to return home.
Once we remembered how we brilliantly waste time and energy by creating horrific stories in the middle of stress, Curt changed courses and got to work, creating flights to NYC out of Paris.

And, what an opportunity! The last minute changes to our 9,800 kilometer France road trip gave us a few days with Courtney, Scott, Reid, and Alex in Manhattan! Yay us!
Often, the greatest obstacles in our lives are the barriers our minds create. Allowing panic invests mental energy and resources no longer available to seek solutions. The downside is a delay in getting grand hugs from our little ones back in Michigan. The blessing is unexpected time with our NYC family . . . it all works out!
